Zhang Shoulin
Zhang Shoulin, born in 1907, from Shouxian, Anhui, also known by the courtesy names Renfu and Renfu.
Zhang Shoulin graduated from the Institute of Chinese Studies at Yanjing University, and later served as a lecturer and professor at Peking University.
In 1927, Zhang Shoulin was invited to work at the General Committee for Oriental Cultural Affairs, where he edited the “Continuation of the General Catalog of the Four Treasuries,” completing 1,600 entries.
Zhang Shoulin was a special editor for the Editorial Office of the Chinese Encyclopedia and authored “An Explanation of the Three Hundred Continuous Characters” (1932) among other works.
